Dr. Edry grew up in the Augusta area, attending Aquinas High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Augusta State University, now part of Georgia Regents University (GRU). He earned his medical degree from GRU, then continued with GRU for his internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology. While there, he participated in leading-edge research in stroke.
He is married to family medicine physician Hajra Hasan, M.D., and they have two children. When not practicing neurology, Dr. Edry enjoys portrait art, swimming, golf and tennis.
